Description
SR2SE is a multi-core central processing unit (CPU) manufactured by the supplier Intel. It is the latest addition to the Intel Xeon Scalable family of processors, designed for servers and high-performance computing systems. The SR2SE features a total of 56 cores, divided into two 28-core die packages, with a base clock speed of 1.4GHz and a maximum turbo frequency of 3.8GHz. It also includes 122 PCIe lanes, which allows for fast data transfers between different components. The SR2SE supports up to 4TB of DDR4 memory and features Intel's advanced Turbo Boost Technology, which automatically increases the processing speed of individual cores when necessary. It also includes Intel Optane DC Persistent Memory, which is a high-capacity, non-volatile (meaning it retains data even when the power is turned off), and resilient form of memory that can help accelerate data-intensive workloads.
