The UCSB-B480-M5 is a server produced by CISCO. It is a part of the UCS B-Series Blade Servers, which are designed to provide high levels of performance and scalability. The server is built for a wide range of applications, and it features an Intel Xeon Scalable processor, which is ideal for use in virtualized environments.The UCSB-B480-M5 features up to four processor sockets, along with up to 48 DIMM slots, which can support up to 6 TB of memory. The server also features supports for up to four hot-pluggable storage drives, and it features six PCIe 3.0 expansion slots. Additionally, the server features integrated dual 10 Gigabit Ethernet LAN-on-motherboard (LOM) ports, along with optional Cisco Virtual Interface Cards (VICs) and Fiber Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) cards.Finally, the UCSB-B480-M5 features a number of management tools, including the Cisco UCS Manager, which provides a single point of management for multiple servers.
