Description
SR2SC is a power-efficient server processor by the supplier INTEL. It is part of the brand new Intel Xeon scalable processor family which is designed to offer high performance and flexibility for data centers. The processor has a base clock speed of 2.4 GHz and a maximum turbo frequency of 3.4 GHz. It has 16 cores and 32 threads, and comes with Intel's Hyper-Threading technology which allows each core to work on two tasks at the same time, doubling the number of processing threads available in the system. SR2SC is built on a 14nm process and uses the LGA 3647 socket. It also has support for Intel's Optane DC persistent memory, which is a new type of memory that can help to improve application performance and data retention. SR2SC has a TDP of 205W and supports up to 1.5TB of DDR4 memory, which helps to provide more processing power for complex workloads.
