EX4500-40FBF/FB-C is a high-performance switching platform designed and manufactured by Juniper, the networking and cybersecurity solutions provider. This Ethernet switch delivers advanced features and maximum scalability for data center, campus, and branch environments. It is equipped with forty fixed front-to-back airflow 10 Gbps SFP+ ports and four optional SFP+/QSFP+ uplink ports, providing flexible connectivity options for network devices and servers. The EX4500-40FBF/FB-C supports virtualized data centers and cloud environments with high-availability, high-speed connectivity, and low-latency services. It offers Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols, routing and switching protocols, and data center protocol integration. The switch operates on Juniper's Junos operating system, which provides modularity, automation, and security features, including MACsec encryption, VPLS, and QoS. The EX4500-40FBF/FB-C is energy-efficient, with a fanless design and low-power components, which reduces operational costs and environmental impact. It also supports network automation and management using Juniper's Junos Space Network Director, allowing the configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network devices.
