The N20-BBLKD is a Cisco Nexus 2000 series fabric extender that enables a scalable and flexible server network that simplifies management and enhances productivity. It is designed to support high-density server environments and offer low-latency, high-bandwidth connectivity between servers and the parent Cisco Nexus switches. The N20-BBLKD has 16 10GBase-KR SFP+ ports, which deliver up to 160 Gbps of bandwidth when shared with a Cisco Nexus 5000, 6000 or 7000 Series Switch. It also supports eight 10GBase-KR SFP+ host interfaces, which can provide a flexible connection to the host.The N20-BBLKD is hot-swappable and can be easily installed without shutting down the server. It enables virtual ports, which reduce the number of physical ports required and conserves power consumption while providing full performance. Moreover, the N20-BBLKD supports Network Interface Virtualization (NIV), which offers a single point of management for virtual and physical ports.
