The N55-DL2 is a high-performance network module that extends the capabilities of Cisco's Nexus 5500 series switches. This module provides 16 additional 10Gb/1Gb Ethernet ports for the switches, which can be used for connecting servers or storage devices. These ports also support Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) and Data Center Bridging (DCB), allowing for increased storage and network efficiency.The N55-DL2 module is designed to offer high performance, reliability, and scalability. It uses advanced technologies such as virtual PortChannels (vPC) and FabricPath to simplify network configuration and improve resiliency.
